We drove to Blythville Friday, and stayed at a Hotel. We got up early Saturday morning and drove the rest of the way to St. Louis. The game started at 6:00, but we got to the stadium about 4:00. We had to go in all the shops and look around at all the expensive things, when I say expensive that is what I mean. I 12oz. bottle of water was $4.75. The braves played a great game, but the Cardinals won. We stayed in a town just outside of St. Louis Saturday night, and drove all of the way home Sunday.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_t9R-9Ly2878/RtWWv2qrkFI/AAAAAAAAACA/yK9p7G8umc4/s320/100_1047.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5104151501566873682" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_t9R-9Ly2878/RtWWcGqrkEI/AAAAAAAAAB4/QtvmV2ATtyE/s320/100_1028.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5104151162264457282" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_t9R-9Ly2878/RtWRf2qrkDI/AAAAAAAAABw/4pBcMdEUvIE/s320/100_1025.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5104145729130827826" />

Did I mention we had front row seats right behind the Braves dugout. I am tired of only doing the things that are required of me to survive. I am ready to do exceedingly and abundantly more than I ever have. To people who don't know me that well may think I am asking for a bit much, but if you know me that's just how I roll. LOL! I do everything that has to be done, bathing the children, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and so on and so on, but I feel like there is so much more that I should be doing. I feel like I have lost my supermom power. I don't have it all together anymore, and I hate it. I want to be a better mother and wife. I feel like I have let my family down. Yes, I guess I am wallowing in self -pitty, but I assure you that I am not trying to get people's attention. I just want to do a better job at juggling all of my responsibilities and your advice may help.

Always wear a helmet.

Friday July 13, 2007 is a day I will never forget. I got a phone call at 11:00a.m. It was Dylan and Caleb's dad, He told me that he was carrying Dylan to the hospital, because Dylan had a bike wreck and needed stitches. They were in Hoxie, AR, which is about 5 hours away. I was at work, so I thought, just stitches I can deal with that I wasn't going to drive 5 hours. About two hours later, Jonathan called back and said that they were transporting Dylan to Children's hospital because he had a fractured skull and air was getting in to his brain. I immediately left work and my mother and I headed up to Little Rock. We arrived about 5 minutes before the ambulance. When the ambulance arrived, we were waiting outside, and their was my baby. He had a patch over his eye and a neck brace on. He was so happy and relieved to see his momma and nana. They immediately started taking more x-rays and a ct-scan. We waited and waited and waited. The whole time, I must tell you Dylan laid there with no pain medicine whatsoever because he had a concussion. Finally, at 6:30 p.m., after we found out that the skull was not depressed, he did not have to have surgery Praise God!, and they could sew the wound up. Dylan was very adamant that he did not want stitches, but he got 8 stitches anyway. They gave us specific instructions on how do deal with a head injury and take care of his stitches and at 9:00, we were ready to go home. Dylan is healing very well and he is dealing with his accident well. We are blessed that it was no worse than it was, and thanks to everyone for their constant love and prayers.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_t9R-9Ly2878/Rpzzkf9v5zI/AAAAAAAAABo/P-xdisQZThg/s320/Dylan4.BMP" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5088209487403149106" />

A great weekend

Rayleigh and Micah had a great time with my dad and Donna this weekend. No more babies. That's okay though, I am ready to enjoy sleeping all night, rough housing with my family because I am not pregnant, and a hot meal every now and then. I remember when I first found out I was pregnant with Micah, oh the thoughts that ran through my head. Rayleigh was only three months old, our trailer was so small, could we really afford another child, and here it is one year later, and everythings just works out. We are blessed more now than we ever have been, and we couldn't imagine our life without her. She is so sweet and lovable, she loves her bunny, and she absolutely will not sleep anywhere except her crib. I just want to take time to thank the Lord for all of his blessings to me, especially my husband and our four children.

Happy Birthday Rayleigh!

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_t9R-9Ly2878/RnrqXL7yLyI/AAAAAAAAAAg/Fv_O2f61UpU/s320/rayleighs_pagenant2006_022%5B1%5D.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5078629213875089186" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_t9R-9Ly2878/RnrqX77yLzI/AAAAAAAAAAo/2fhsItKxNVQ/s320/100_0481.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5078629226759991090" />
Mommie's Little Princess turned 2 today. Eric is out of town, so I will not get to see the love of my life tomorrow. Sob Sob. On the other hand the boys have their V-Day parties at school that I will attend. My oldest son Dylan had to buy a present for his girlfriend. How sweet!! The joys of being a mother. My children are growing up so fast. I wanted to post on Micah's latest. She has six teeth now, four of which she cut last week. She learned to sit up and crawl last week also. Busy week! NEWSFLASH!!!!!! I AM THAT MOTHER!!!!!!!!! It is awful. I am so embarrassed. Caleb will not mind at school or at home. Most of you know he is four and is it possible for him to be this late on terrible two's, because man I tell ya this is hard. Caleb is testing my faith not to mention my patience everyday. I'm not sure if it is jealousy because of his two sisters or what, but I can't seem to get through to him. In all honesty, I am not sure that spanking is working for him either. I do believe in spanking your children, not that everyone should, it's just what my husband and I agree on. I might add that it has always worked for us, but for some reason it just seems to make Caleb madder ( Is that a word?) and more defiant. I am going to start trying new methods, so suggestions anyone? I am currently reading the "Strong-Will Child" by James Dobson, and "The Power of a Praying Parent", by Stormie OMartin. I know that we are going to get through this, but it is so stressful right now.

The Montgomery's

So Thankful

Today I just want to express my thanks. First and foremost I am thankful to you Jesus, for dying on the cross for my sins, the stripes that you took on your back that I may be healed, and your Word that is powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. Next I am very thankful for my husband. We have been married for two wonderful years now, and I truely love him more everyday. We made a vow on our wedding night to not let the sun go down on our wrath, and I can honestly say that we have never gone to bed mad at one another, we have sat up many hours to get it right, but we always do. Thank you Eric for your devoted time to the children, the housework, and yes Deerhunting. I am even proud you deerhunt, hey you could do worse. I would like to say that I am thankful for my children, Dylan because you were my first and you love me even after all of the mistakes I have made. Caleb, because you challenge me everyday and remind me to keep my cool and if I need anything to let you know. Rayleigh, I love you because you were my first girl, you bring so much joy to my life, and you brought me and papaw David back together. Last but certainly not least, Micah, you are my final child I named you after me in hopes that you would look like me, no luck, but you definately love me the most. My mother is my best friend, and I thank God for her everyday. My family and friends mean so much to me, and I can't list you all individually, but you know who you are. Everyone, I can't thank you enough, my life is complete, and I am honestly happy.

Out of a Slump

I guess I have been in a blogging slump, and really feel bad about it. Eric has been working out of town. So my days have consisted of working 8 hours a day, cooking supper, bathing 4 children, helping with homework, cleaning up the kitchen while letting a load of clothes wash, ironing clothes for the next morning, showering, and falling into bed somewhere between 10 and 11. That explains why I haven't been posting. Bless the Lord Eric is working in Arkansas City for the next three weeks, and will be home everynight. Boy, have I missed him. I hope all is well with everyone.

Time to Brag

I have to catch you up on some things. When I came to work this morning all I was worried about was posting the pictures of Micah for everyone. It wasn't untill I started reading everyone else's blog that I realized Jenny kept everyone posted on how we were doing. Thank you Jenny. It is nice to know that you have people that care about you and want to keep in touch. I know that the world we are living in now is very fast pace, and we hardly have time to post, but thank you so much for taking the time to write me a comment and keep up with me. Just knowing how good it made me feel, I want to try to do more commenting, just to say hi.

Welcome Baby Montgomery

Micah Jene'e Montgomery 7lbs 6oz. and 191/2 inches long.

This is Micah and her big brother Dylan.

I think I can, I think I can

I know I haven't posted in a while, but I have good reason. Our darling little Micah Jene'e Montgomery wants to come before she's ready. The past two weeks I have been in and out of the hospital. They have been successful to stop labor twice, but I am exhausted. I am on medicines to stop contractions, and they make me crazy. Also I am on complete bedrest. If any of you know me you know that is extremely hard. My children are staying with my dad and step-mom. I couldn't do it without them. I miss my children, and am ready to get out of bed, but to save my daughter and me, I guess I will stay here and rest. Please keep me in your prayers, and leave me notes.

Wonderful Weekend

Friday night, we had what we call Family Night. We rented Dr. Doolittle 3, very cute by the way. Everyone piled up in mommy and daddy's bed, we ate junk food like crazy, and everyone slept with us. Mommy did not get that much sleep, but hey the kids just love family night. Saturday we had a huge day of swimming and grilling. We had my mom and step-dad over to grill hamburgers. Sunday we got up and went to church, let the kids swim some more, and once again we grilled. This time for Eric's dad and step-mom. Fabulous weekend, I enjoyed spending time with my family, really hated to see it end.

Here Comes Trouble

Laughter and crying all at once. I am having the hardest time keeping the floors clean at my house. I sweep 2-3 times everyday and still can't keep the grass and mud out. Enough griping. Everything is going to be okay, " I am not dissappointed for I trust in the Lord." This is the message, a guest speaker at our church, brought to us Sunday morning. It makes a lot of scense. If we can't get past the dissapointment, God is not able to move in our life the way He wants to. My husband and I have discussed this many time since Sunday, and are really trying to take it all in. I have felt so much better just knowing that I don't have to be dissappointed anymore, God can take what I would normally be upset about and turn it around for my good. I just have to trust him. No, it is not easy, yes I have failed many times since Sunday, but my dissappointing times have turned into moments, instead of days, weeks, or years. I can let go of my dissappointment easier, and allow God to move in my life. Thank you Lord for giving Eric and I the revelation knowledge to grasp this message, so that we might become better witnesses for you. Also thank you pastor Woody, for sharing this wonderful message. Eric wants to name her after me, but I don't know, we'll see.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I know I did. Dylan and Caleb were at their dad's, and Rayleigh was at my dad's. Eric and I were home alone, so you know what weeeee did. That's right slept. Something I haven't done in a very long time. It rained all day Saturday, so we rented movies and rested. Sunday we went to church and had an absolutely wonderful service. It is Monday morning and I feel completely rested and ready for the work week. Tomorrow I go to the doctor. I will find out the sex of the baby. Yeah! Hope everyone has a great week. Here are some pics of Rayleigh with my dad this weekend..
I don't know who had more fun, Rayleigh or my dad.

Waiting for the School Bus

Dylan and I get to the courthouse early every morning, and he rides the bus to school. He is always picking up bugs and playing with them. I know "gross", but he IS ALL BOY! We are always telling him not to pick up bugs because one day you are going to pick up one that will bite you. As you know, most of the time children don't listen the first time or ever till one day it happens. Yesterday, it didn't actually happen, but sooo close. I got the scare of my life and in return so did my son. We were at my mothers, Dylan and Caleb were in the backyard playing golf, or so I thought. Dylan brings a cricket and a rollie pollie to the steps, and for the gazillionth time mommy says, "Dylan one day you are going to pick up a bug and it is going to bite you." He puts them down and goes to the backyard to play golf because I am sure he understood me, and would never pick up a bug again. Yeah Right! Ten minutes later Dylan comes back around to the porch steps and says, "Nana, you don't want to ever ever look in the bucket on the backporch, because whats in there is bad bad." My mom ask him what was in there that was so bad, and Dylan doesn't respond simply moves his hands in a slithering snake motion. My mom and I look at each other and go get the men. Around to the backyard we go. Me, praying the whole time, please don't let it be a snake, surely not, a worm or something? Papaw Rick takes the lid off of the coffee can, and to my surprise and total guilt, dumps out not just a snake but one of the most deadly snakes in Arkansas, a copperhead. That's right a baby copperhead. Everyone stares at Dylan, and he responds with, "I was just catching it so it wouln't bite anyone." Papaw says nice idea, but next time get an adult to get the snake. Eric kills the snake, we lecture Dylan and Caleb about how dangerous snakes are and always call an adult take care of the snake, and then we go home. What an afternoon, one I will DEFINATELY not EVER forget.

I have been so busy the past week that I haven't posted in a while, but I did want to let everyone know we had a great Easter. The kids had a blast. We got up Sunday and went to Church, the service was wonderful. Then, we went to Eric's mothers for lunch, and of course to hunt eggs. This is my family in their Easter clothes. The lighting is not very good, I just got the camera. Nothing much exciting is going on with me. Dylan starts his first t-ball practice Tuesday afternoon, and Eric is the assistant coach. This ought to be pretty interesting. HA HA!!! Also next weekend Eric is going on a turkey hunting trip for three days. I will have all three kids by my self that weekend, so anyone wanting to volunteer to come help is welcome. Eric is so wonderful with my children that I really don't know if I could make it without him. Three days won't be so bad though.

Children are great aren't they. Last night we had the A/C on, cause gah it got warm outside quick. Anyway we have the air vents in the floor, and Rayleigh had her head over the vent and all of the sudden, she stuck her tounge to the vent. It was so funny, I guess she like the cold air on her mouth. I took a picture, I will have to post later.

Here is a picture of Rayleigh and my dad.

Energizer Mom

Ever wish you were the Energizer Mom, and could keep going, and going, and going?
